Dignitary Protection Level 2
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The instructional template for this course is developed utilizing the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) which are currently employed by the Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service, Secret Service, and other various protection units. This allows agencies from all echelons to integrate personnel with other details with minimal variations in TTP’s and terminology. In the Dignitary Protection Level II course, our experienced instructor cadre will continue to build on the TTP’s learned in the level I course for operations in a low to medium threat environment. During this course, students will be exposed to advanced skill sets through classroom instruction, hands on practical training exercises, and daily protective training details. The primary focus during the 5 days in this program is to create a full mission profile environment that students will be able to staff and manage a protection detail from start to finish.
